Well, I was looking for place to stop earlier today going around Indy. I remembered this thread when I looked over before the exit and just went on........ Thanks for the warning.

It's a shame we cant just go to a truck stop and get a good nights sleep, but guess even lizards gotta work too.....

The pilot is pretty gross for real... Flying J is not that bad...
Best parking is behind the Hardees or down the road next to the White Castle.. Parking lot behind the Hardies is a dirt lot so it has craters in it though... you also can park on the side of the road behind the hardees that takes you down to the truck wash... That pretty much keeps you away from all that crap...
The girls around there usually don't go door knocking and mainly use the CB.. They mostly hang out in the bar at the hotel next to the pilot...FullTruckerEffect Thanks this. -
Thanks for the warning about the bar, and the advice of where to park.
Some guys feel safe parking at that little Omelot Shop Restaurant too I hear. -
.BUt on the GOOD side yes thier is a good to that place. they guys that does the trk wash are great but .every thing around that trk wash area forget it and for the showers i'll use what moms use on baby's . baby wipes when i have to park thier.. that place is a ghetto trk stop makes ghettos look good .Last edited by a moderator: Oct 19, 2008

That may explain why I see lots of trucks parked at the old Montgomery Ward building off of Route 355 and Perry Parkway in Gaithersburg, Maryland. It's now the Burlington Coat Factory and Toys R Us.
There is a 24 hour CVS drugstore in the Gaithersburg Square shopping center across Perry Parkway that sells Comfort Cloths, which are basically baby wipes for hospital settings. -

The Burlington Coat Factory is Gaithersburg, Maryland (near the Sam's Club, Lakeforest Mall, Gaithersburg Square Shopping Center and Montgomery County Fairgrounds [Perry Parkway entrance]) seems no longer to have a lot of trucks parked there.
Does anyone know what happened?
Thanks.
