09 t660, cummins engine
Driving down the road, all systems normal, all of a sudden tach and speedo quit working and low voltage pops up on RoadRelay. All other gauges continue working and engine stays running with throttle response.

Update...
Starter 'bumps' when ignition is switched to ON but not turned to START.stillwurkin Thanks this. -
Bad ground.
This has been a problem with a group of my trucks I acquired, they all had the same issue and everyone of them has a bad ground somewhere,HoneyBadger67 and stillwurkin Thank this. -
One badly frayed positive and a slightly worn through ground managed to fry the alternator causing it to overcharge. Much wampum later and the truck SEEMS to be doing ok, holding at a steady 14.15 - 14.2.
While I hate going to the dealership for things I should be able to do myself, lying on the wet ground in 45° weather looking for worn cables sounded like a path to pneumonia.speedyk and stillwurkin Thank this. -
Took truck to shop and they tightend up yoke nut to spec. and they started working .
Still flutyers slightly on speedo ,they say rebuild back half of tranny.
Good luck -
The regulator was likely overcharging because of the cable resistance, the alternator probably didn't enjoy that very much.
HoneyBadger67 Thanks this.
