So I looked it up, once I’m on a tapered medication at 6 months, I can get my DOT card for graduates times. 3months, 6months and then annually. So this might work out after all. I’d have to start from scratch though, haven’t driven since December 2018. That’s beyond the experience window of “within the last 5 years. “

Without starting from scratch, how would one get back out there and still pull off a home weekly(ish) gig?
dwells40 Thanks this. -

Still not cleared to go back to work yet. I have another follow up in Detroit on Monday. Hopefully I can get the go ahead and maybe a letter stating I’m at the long term maintenance medication regimen and can drive a cmv without restrictions. running low on cash and these hourly jobs locally aren’t cutting it.
I doubt I could do OTR for weeks at a time, but I could go for a dedicated run so it’s predictable. My problem is I haven’t driven in going on 6 years. Who would hire me? do I dare step into ownership again? Seems like a lot of needless stress.dwells40, 88 Alpha, Chinatown and 1 other person Thank this.
