Taking Per-Diem, Yay or Nay?

    Go a Google search for the IRS withholding calculator. Put your info in. The perdiem shouldn't be included in your income on the calculator. If you get get too little withheld you'll pay a penalty that will wipe out any interest you made. To answer whether or not you take perdiem, I'd take the per diem because it's a little more money in my pocket that I can put away how I choose.
