Oh. Well, that's a completely different situation, then. Lucky bugger. He doesn't have to sit through Barney's three day (very informative but dry as the Sahara) class on CSA.

Day one down, wasnt bad. Drug screens and physicals, going over their e log system, lunch ordered in from the local Italian joint. Lots of paperwork, joking around galore. Everyone seems like they are good people. They keep preaching being a family and respect. Have to see how much they stick to that mantra. Tomorrow we are supposed to be heading out to lunch with a couple of the vp's. Should be interesting

I took percentage without per diem. I'm on their "pride of the fleet" side which is work 6 weekends of every quarter then next quarter you get 72 hours off to be used whenever you want. Also turn the truck up to 68 from 65.

Day two is done. Went over benefits, company rules, and some of their chain on command. Then went to lunch with the vp of something. He's one of the sons of the ceo. Was a nice guy. Watched the man tell one of the managers with us to pick up the tab for 2 uniformed cops, and 3 uniformed military. He definitely got my respect. They all show alot of interest in learning about the drivers, their families, and their wants, interests, and needs.

Probably Jean Paul. Real nice guy, keeps his desk right in the middle of the "bullpen" of dispatch. He keeps a real close eye on operations that way. Or it could have been Frank Jr. He does a lot of the on the road sales calls to big, big customers. Also a real nice guy.
