I think it is $154, 500 for Harrison Cascadias with D60s.
I wish they were 15k less to make a go for it a little more convincing...or at least the cabin would be of the latest design.

I wouldn’t mind a Coronado, for my last Truck. I could be happy with one for a long time. I’m looking at another 10 yrs. at most.

Yeah...those long hood monsters would resemble what I started on a while ago at Werner - Freightliner Classic. Coming back to roots. Hopefully, the diesel price would stay at what it is now for the next decade or so. Lol.

Better jump on one for $155k, as they become fewer and fewer the price will only go up.

I almost bought a Werner Classic, in 96. It was a 95, Trainer/ Team Truck with almost 300k, for 57k. Probably should have bought it looking back. But according to Fleet Sales, the overall difference was .5 mpg, vs. an aero Truck. Considering resale, ease of repairs. The Classic seemed like a better choice. They were typically 5-7k more for used. My Dad Trained at Werner, the last 10 yrs of his Career. They had a good maintenance program. He did alright, got paid mileage on total miles the Truck ran. Brand new Truck every 7 mos. or so. Good health insurance. Despite all the negative things heard. My Dad loved new technology, he really was disappointed he didn’t get to be part of the Pilot paperless logs program. There’s a good story behind Werner’s decision to do it. They tried to fight it, with no support from the other Mega’s. Seeing the inevitable, decided to do a 180, and cooperate with the Gov.

There's a lot to be said for running a new truck.

In spite of all the negative stereotypes on this site about Volvos, especially "white" one's, I've had a very positive experience all around.

My out of warranty/pocket expenses on this truck are under 0.03 a mile in almost 5 years now.

Combine that with a lifetime mpg of 7.2 and it's not hard to understand why new is the way to go a lot of times, even with a reasonable payment (in my case) of $1,765 a month.

I'm going to keep my options open for sure. When the maintenance upkeep, combined with downtime lost revenue, start to exceed 50% of what a new truck payment is, it'll be time for me to bail on ole' whitey.

That’s what he’s choosing to pay himself. That’s not what is left over.
