Based off of the other tread I am positive it is. She was given this thread so she could see some stuff about her son.

We simply didn't know any better. Last we heard from him was when he was going under. We were all hoping he was going still under and were all waiting for him to come back on the forum.

    Very sorry for your loss.

I am FarmerBob1 his mother. Matthew called me from hospital Aug 27 in Colorado Springs, I arrived Aug 28 from SC. He was intubated that day, after he achieved peace of mind by having his power of attorney notarized giving me POA. He passed MST AM of Sept 3rd. He and I shared hopes for his recovery......... before intubation he was on what they referred to (I believe as a Bi-pap) something similar to a C-pap. I've read alot of hurtful remarks on this blog, I hope everyone can attempt to achieve the empathy and tolerance Matt had. He did things differently and walked to his own drummer. I am proud he was a Trucker.
Be kind to each other, none of you know how long yourself or your fellow trucker will tread this earth. His obit is at: crematecolorado.com as Matthew Burch. Condolences can be sent to Burch, 630 Lewisham Road, Columbia, SC 29210.

That sucks they deleted the other thread that he had made to share with us about covid. @Cat sdp was able to confirm he passed away by emailing him and his mother replying.

Im very sorry for your loss and he had a lot of friends here. I’m sure at some point you’ll read this entire thread from day 1. Try not to be offended by any remarks people made about his game plan. We all have different ideas and he wanted opinions.

Take care and RIP to Matt. I know he mentioned you a couple times through this thread, about making sure you were taken care of. He obviously loved his mother.
