Taking the plunge owner operator dump truck

    So looks like I’m going to be taking the plunge here in a few weeks and become a oo dump truck owner. Got worked lined up for paving. Here’s where I’m stuck on confirming exactly what I need
    *drivers qualifcation file ( I need to give myself a road test?)
    Finding a consortium ( I googled and found pricing from $50 a year to over $200, how do you find the right one for an owner op?
    I think the only thing that really has me stuck is the driver qualification file. As there’s a lot of stuff it seems I have to do for myself. Is there a place to get templates a for the forms?

    I use OOIDA for my consortium. I’m sure they can help you out with all the other stuff too. Driver file doesn’t need to be anything special or fancy, just have the required documents in there and you’ll be fine.
