third. the fleet managers are NOT all there is at roehl transport-- they are employees just like everybody else, and they make mistakes and have bad days.
don't bail just because of a bad FM-- talk to the FOM first. if that doesn't work, i'd even go up another notch before giving up.

I don't think he will ever be happy. He wanted the gravy train with biscuit wheels the minute he walked in the door. He is probably calling them every ten minutes whining about something. Roehl probably can't wait until he walks.
Cooper09 Thanks this. -
I've posted my account as it's played out to me. Thanks to those that offered advise. -
OK then....changed dispatchers. A good conversation with the new. Told him I'm not looking to talk smack against the old...Let's move forward and write our own good history.
He told me my truck got released from the shop around 11 this morning. I told him I'll pull my gear together and be ready at 1st light in the morning. Looking forward to having a better experience & making a decent coin....alex94 and notezbngrn71 Thank this. -
i would go up the chain and see if you can get a new FM and make this work... don't jump ship too fast as that looks bad on you. other companies might think your a job hopper... just my .02

I really think the relationship with your FM is the most important key to success and will make or break you.1026 Thanks this. -
I miss my old fleet manager she was always so bright and cheerful to talk to...its too bad she got canned...(I am curious now why, cause I never had a problem)...although my new FM and dry as he is definately has more experience and keeps me movin when I have the hours he uses them...but i still miss my old one..

Changing FM has been a breath of fresh air. I've been out the last 16 days. Starting with my new FM was a short week, but he did a great job getting me a fairly decent pay check.
The next week pulled 2761 miles. I had two breakdowns. One was on the fuel island of the Flying J in Kansas City & the next was the very next day at my consignee, Walmart DC in Bentonville, Arkansas.....right in the gate at check in.
Kudos to the breakdown line as they were courteous and expeditious in getting me up and running again.
This last week I turned in 2957. I held back my last run of 344 to go on the following weeks pay as I'm home until Monday.
Seems like extra pay always takes longer to get. 3 weeks later I finally received my $60 for passing a DOT inspection in South Carolina.alex94, skyviper73, Mic and 1 other person Thank this.
