You have to pay a fee to get your money.

Nope, no national fleet. I'm about 100 miles east of I-95, so that's probably why.

I've never been charged a fee. I believe the fee is applied to a cash advance. A plus to having it put on your Comdata card is you can transfer whatever amount to your personal bank account & you can use the card like a debit card while shopping.

Okay 1026, is there a fee at the POS tor using as debit? I thought there always was, which is why I use my bank card as credit...

if you use it at an ATM there is a fee, but at checkout at Walmart or a restaurant I've noticed no fee. This as well when I move money from my card to my personal bank account. I should mention at a TS when you use the card I've found not one clerk that understands there are two sides to the card...your personal money & cash advance. When they start asking for trip number and the info you give at the pump, walk away because they're tapping into the advance side & five bucks will be charged. You know your drawing from your personal funds when in asks 'Checking' or 'Credit'. Always choose checking/debit. Then it'll ask for your pin only...which hopefully you've set up different one than you use for fueling.

    T-Lady Thanks this.

If you have a personal bank account why wouldn't you just do direct deposit and use a debit card?

I still carry an open, but not active bank account with a local bank in Abq, NM & the account I transfer money into is my wife's she's opened at Wells Fargo.

So it's just "easier" for me to get my cash without reconciling a checking account that's dormant acting more like a savings....
