Not to be snarky, but in the U.S., what profession or any legally paid job allows the employment of illegal aliens?

Plenty of shady employers out there that will allow it. I see them all the time when I used to deliver packing boxes down to the produce farms in south FL.

Just google "path to citizenship"...there are over 15 million illegals in this country...do you think we are going to deport them all?
Military, truck-driving, other service industries with high turnover and low wages...these professions will allow illegals to eventually become citizens.

    Look who wins:
Business gets low-wage workers who are happy to be making peanuts so they eventually become citizens.
    The government gets tax revenue.

    Look who loses:
    Blue-collar American truckers.

But, we're always on the losing end so nothing new here, right?

    Again, the word eventually.

Is there any job currently that LEGALLY pays illegal aliens? Especially a job that requires a certification!

I'm no worldly expert, I am just asking.

I remember how I got into the computer business in the early 90's. All the haters at that time was the "nay sayer" about the internet. I saw the future. Then, the dot.com era rose, (i.e. yahoo, AOL Cisco, IBM, Dell, MCI.) Those companies exploded during that time. Folks from all walks of life trying to into the computer biz. (Big money $$$)I had all types of folks asking how can I get in. I was in. Doctor, lawyers, other professional was trying to get in. Well, 2000 came and "pop" the dot.com bubble busted.

I knew the end was near, when the tech companies losing hundreds of millions $$$ every quarter and outsourcing jobs to India, Russia and China. Why pay a Network Admin or programmer here $75 to $125K when they can do the same in the above countries for about 6 to 8K per yr.

Now some of those same jobs are less than half here. And you need to be 20ish and a "foreigner" with a quasi degree to get a 10-15 dollar an hr job. Glad I got out when opportunity arose.

Realistically, all facets of this economy is "jacked". Trucking is not immune. So we need to adjust our "mindset", the good ol days are gone, never to come back.

So we need to look "beyond" the "status quo". It's how you make it.

If you think that illegals only work for substandard wages, you need to think again. Many work in warehousing, construction, etc., Part of the reason so many have been able to get better paying jobs is because so many Americans simply don't want to work. They don't want to get their hands dirty or they are unwilling to work a job they consider "beneath" them. These illegals don't always work for wages paying less than Americans could make on the same job. Companies have jobs that need to be filled. I know of several employers who were not able to find Americans to fill positions, so they hired Mexicans or others from Central and South America. One in particular paid his workers over $900/week. It was hard manual labor, but paid well.

If you don't like the way things are heading then you need to stay in touch with your state and federal representatives. Let them know how you feel. We could stop this exodus of jobs going to India, etc., It would not be difficult. Our representatives have been asleep at the wheel. We could also stop the illegals from coming across our borders. Illegals have been rounded up before in this country. All it takes is the will to do it. We have seen illegals march in the streets of cities in Arizona and California. That would have been a good time to round many of them up.

I was doing a siding job in a development a few years back in... get this... New Hampshire of all places... you can't get much further from the mexican border... two unmarked vans pulled in... hauled off an ENTIRE roofing crew... every last one of 'em.

    Yep... all illegals.

Same up here... even in Maine....

Back in 2002 a van full of 'em went off a bridge up here... killed all 14... they however, were here legally...
