Yes, you can, provided you have a place where you can drop the flatbed and pick up a van. If you're in a place with no flatbed freight, they're not going to want you to leave one of the trailers there. But I did have to take a couple van loads when I ran for their flatbed division, yes. And I was happy as all hell to get rid of those things and get back to a respectable trailer, too.

Eden shut down when they lost the Miller account.

Ah. Hadn't heard about that. I just heard that they'd started moving OTR boards to Greer and Richmond and kept it solely for the Miller account for a bit, then they shut it down.

I spent the night there once. I delivered some empty bottles to Miller and bobtailed to the employee parking. There was 2 mechanics that worked out of there doing road calls.

My sweetie's son has a truck driving friend that worked there. He told me he could be home almost ever weekend unless he wanted to stay out. He quit due to getting a local job+he had 2 young kids at home.
