Or if you fill it to the brim...

I come in at 84k though when I do that and apparently that’s frowned upon.

Need a few more axles for that move...

That’s what I do, bang through 1-5 in about 5 seconds before it even gets a chance to move then then hammer down...off throttle until I feel it surge forward throw it in 7 and hammer back down, repeat until desired speed is achieved.

Yeah it’s surging but it’s controlled and smooth. It’s not sending bottles and cups of coffe jettisoning across the cab.

Its only frowned upon if you get caught ;)

The best surge is when you have 15k in the front 30k compartment and 18k in the rear 30k compartment. Thats a true test of kingpins and fifth wheel bolts. Fortunately, that only stays true for a couple miles till the next pick up.

Only driven a smooth bore. I’ve driven empty gas trailers but those don’t surge lol.

I’m the loser who works for a fuel company with no hazmat haha, you want a transport of DEF I got you though!

    True

Mn has some weird law where you can’t go over 80k with man made products.

Milk trucks run well over 100k here but since I haul def I’m not allowed to. We actually wanted to buy one of those beast milk trailers to haul def in but found out we couldn’t.

I do 88k on 5 axles in pa, but my permits say im "not authorized" to use the interstates. Legally, state routes and farm roads. That dont work so well when every dairy is in a city, that requires interstate travel.

I got a short trailer, we have a trailer that does 70k, but most of ours are good for 60k. Heavy milk truck? Nobody bats an eye. Lol

Nah, not when it’s subsidized from the government. They’d just be moving money from one pocket to another.

You ever seen those straight trucks that are like 7 axles that haul milk?
