I was told they are planning on doing some experimenting with several different makes and models to run some internal testing and to see what the drivers liked. In reality with the proper specs almost any brand of truck can be equipped the same as any other brand. The only real differences any more are the cosmetics, the aerodynamics of a particular model, and the layout and amount of space of the inside of the cabs. I really liked the interior space and layout of the Columbia I was driving and yet it seems the big guys do nothin but moan about Freightliners. I haven't been inside a Cascadia yet and I know they have a lot of plastic but I'd like to try one and a Prostar too.

I'm a bit strange it seems. I've always liked the Century/Columbias. There's a lot of room in them. The only one as far as room that was nicer was a Volvo 780. I've been in a Cascadia, and it was decent, laid out nicely I thought. And I looked at a Prostar, I liked that as well, it seemed finished nicer than a Freightliner. The only IHC I've had any experience with was a 9400 Eagle, and I liked that one alot. A good solid truck, but the layout seemed odd to me. I was used to a Century.
Any idea how those new trucks were speced?:biggrin_25525:
