Does anyone know anything about Tango? I'm curious about their company policies & how they treat their drivers.

A guy a drove for a few years back had 2 of his 15 trucks leased to them. They ran dedicated automotive runs. They ran lots of miles and were home on weekends. Tango had a terminal in W Memphis. I don't know if its still there.

I'm curious if anyone has information about Tango Transportation? I'd never heard of them until yesterday, but apparently they have a fleet of some 700 trucks? They're based in Shreveport and their website isn't very telling. Anyone?

You guys have a contract with Standard Furniture in Bay Minette, about 20 miles from here, and I'm wondering how Tango is to work with as an O/O and if anything is available coming out of Standard. Thanks.

Not sure about Standard. I know we are running rolls to International Box plant there usually back hauling out of Mobile, Pensacola or Bogalusa La. As far as O/O you can pretty much run how you want. Alot of them run GM dedicated. You can bid on certain runs after some time with the company. Haven't heard any complaints out of O/O. Theres alot of drop and hook with this company. Wish I could tell you more on O/O but they dont sit long enuff to talk with you sometimes.

Last I heard was they require atleast 6 months exp. When fuel started shooting up they cut the trucks down to 65/67 rather than cut wages and advised more use of Idle Air which they pay for. Last week I was told they are getting rid of these Internationals and put an order in for 600 new Freightliner Cascadia's so the fleet will change all to those in about 3 yrs time. Starting pay min. is 38cpm. You can run regional, otr, Ip tours, or Temple dedicated and a few others I cant remember and all of depends on where you live. We do have flatbeds but I'm not sure how they are running. Get use to running heavy ### paper if you come over here. Trucks don't do too bad considering they're all Cummins motors with an autoshift stuck behind it.
