Fuel in Minnesota is a bio diesel mixture under state law. I no longer buy diesel there anymore because I got tired of plugged filters.

I had a problem with at fuel filter once in Souix Falls SD. The Pilot is one of our fuel stops. Filled up and added fuel treatment. Pulled truck ahead went into sign ticket and go. When I came out noticed cap was off of tank on passanger side. Was pretty sure that I put it back on when I was done fueling. Well by the time I got to the top of the get on ramp from this place I couldn't get out of 5th gear. Turned around and headed back to the place and took it into the shop there. Turned out the filter was plugged with what looked like the blue paper towels they have in the dispensers on the fuel island. Went right to the bottom of the tank and got sucked up into the fuel line pick up. Didn't make it past the Primary filter. :biggrin_25513: I use the fuel treatment on a regular basis and don't have filter problems otherwise. Fuel filters changed around 20k miles.

So did you ever figure out who stuffed the towels in your passenger tank?

Nope. It would have been hard to prove who did it. The place was pretty busy. :biggrin_25513:
