Anyone know of tanker companies hiring someone just out of school in the Vegas area? I don't have HazMat yet since I need to get the TSA background check.

Try Pan Western. Ignore any experience required & apply anyway.

    Try LW Miller.

    Check Careerbuilder and Indeed websites.

    Interesting...

I thought most of the time the experience needed was for insurance purposes, so I figured there was no point applying. I don't see too many tanker companies out west. Lots of flatbed.

    Chinatown Thanks this.

Sometimes companies do hire new CDL grads, but don't advertise it. They don't hire that often, but it's worth the time to submit an application. Do the application and submit before any phone calls, so they have something to look at.

Try this website also : careerjet

System Transport (website is trans-system) is a good flatbed company that hires new CDL grads in Nevada. They have a tanker division but not sure if they hire for tankers in Nevada.

You might try Apex. It's dry bulk tanks and doubles. I have no idea what their experience requirements are but my folks live outside of Vegas and I see them on 15 all the time.
