Right. I’m sure that’s what I meant: That Mexico has no HazMat drivers of their own.

Go ahead and haul milk if you want. but when they start giving some of your hours to Pablo because he’ll work Sundays and at 80% of your wages don’t be surprised.

They have plenty of hazmat drivers, some of whom come over here to load hazmat and take across the border into Mexico. And if Mexico didn't have any hazmat drivers then how do you think they move hazmat around in their country?

Since they became Bulk....their service went WAY down and getting worse. I have numerous customers that refuse to use them anymore.

You want to pull tanks, but don't want to sling hoses?

I’m a long time viewer of this forum for information and entrainment but never made an account till today!

Check out kuhnle Brothers out of NE Ohio. I’ve been working for Kuhnle for 4 years now and so long as it’s under the ownership of Kim Kuhnle I’ll retire here. Kim is a nice guy and he knows everybody’s names which is impressive because they’re something around 200 employees, drivers and office staff included.

The pros of Kuhnle are the following

No driver facing cameras although there are cameras on the side mirrors and looking out. There are no critical event sensors on the truck that alert the office with the exception of the camera sensing that the truck hit something. So no hard braking or over speed alerts. Kuhnle office has never called me about any of that stuff.

Most of the trucks are truck show beautiful. Kenworths & Pete’s all Manuel fleet no autos here. Everything from 10speed to 18 speeds. I’m now driving a beautiful new 2024 W990 with all the upgrades. I love it.

Kim kuhnle also owns Kuhnle motor sports park in Thompson OH. There was an event just this weekend called Semi Stampede.

pay is percentage. Over the last 4 yrs my pay has been 97k for yr 1, 93k for yr 2, 88 for yr 3 and 79 for yr 4. So far I’m on track to to make in the 80’s this yr. Pay is connected to the rates and work was really busy when I started in April of 2020 but slowed down over the following yrs. The work seems to be picking up now though which is good. I have friends there who earned more than me as they have been there longer.

Drivers live all over the country but Most do live in Pa or Oh.

I started my trucking career at Schneider national tanker devision and my comparison between the 2 company’s is night and day.

Kuhnle is NOT corporate which I love.

Oh ya I forgot to mention the trucks are not Governed at all!
The rule of thumb here is if you get a speeding ticket they will turn it down to 70 for a while if you get 2 tickets we’ll I’ve heard it’s case by case but the driver might be let go. They’ve had a lot of speeding tickets and need that to be reduced. I’ve never any speeding ticket.
