Tanker endoresment

    Applying for part time hauling dry bulk cement. My ? is they say only need Class A CDL wouldn't this fall under tanker endorsement or is tanker consider for hauling liquid.

    I believe that the tank endorsement is for liquid. Call your DMV for absolute clarification. You wouldn't want to get stopped if you need it, and tell the cop "some guy on the internet told me I didn't need it"

    Check with your local DMV as Brickman said. I believe he is correct though. That liquid tanks are considered tankers while bulk tanks are not.

    We haul sand in pneumatics (gravity drop) and a tanker endorsement is not needed.
