Most tanker companies will want a year of driving. If you haul hazmat, more like three years. Tankers tip over way too easy, so its a safety question. -
Schneider will hire tankers right out of school, go search their website to see if they have any tanker positions in/near Missouri

Prime may or may not hire out of driving school, can't remember. Regardless, they have a tanker division and they are located in Mo so call em up.

Cant speak for the big companies but the company I pull for (propane, butane, propalene) wants no less the 2 years.

Yeah, most companies who haul hazmat tankers, want experienced drivers.
Two years is pretty good, but I would expect they would want a spotless
record to go along with that. -
