Here is my union job out here in Hawaii hauling cryogenic gases and compressed cylinders.
Pay per hour $22.56 2012, $23.21 2013, $23.66 2014, $24.16 2015.
4 Weeks vacation
15 days of sick leave
9 days of holiday pay
3 days of floating holiday
Medical Family Plan $110/month
Retirement 401K company match up to 50% of the first 4% the employee contributes to plan. Was in the Western Conference Teamsters Pension plan but got negotiated out.
Overtime 1 1/2 after 8, double time after 12. 4 hours minimum pay if called back after clocking out and on days off.
Mon-Fri start at 7:00 am till done. Average 10 hours a day
Drive Columbia and Cascadia Freightliner day cab

There are tanker jobs out there that pay that kind of money and don't take that long to get.

I'm on pace to make a 110k this year. But I work 6 days a week,every week. But still home every day
And I was hired about 25 months ago, fresh out of school -
I would love to do chemical tanker, I relayed a load of acid today for my company and that was great.
My freind does food grade tanker and loves his job hauling sugar. -
