Experience? Is it a mega vs a smaller company? Think LTL. I know a guy works for old Dominion. He make 66 cents a mile. Home every day. 90k a year. SNI , van rate is what?

A lot of those home daily type tanker jobs require you to work 14-16 hour days. A regional job you aren't home as much but lets say you only have to cover 2500 miles in 5 days and make 2 deliveries. Thats a lot less work than trying to grind out multiple deliveries per day in a major metro area like StL.

For the same reasons I am home every day and probably make more than either of those jobs pay. Different Markets, different customers, and different freight.
