I've got the BOL for hauling a vehicle, and I haven't done this much but it included, "Equipment Exhaust must be taped or sealed for transportation", is this common? What's the purpose? How do you go about doing it, duct tape off the exhaust? Any info will be appreciated, thanks!

Because pressure or suction can cause a turbo to spin with no oil

So, use duct tape? Just anything to keep air from flowing?

Maybe stuff with something too just to be extra safe? Clean rags, old t-shirt, etc before the tape.

I love when they say tape the exhaust and it’s not going to catch wind in anyway possible

Bean Jr. and D.Tibbitt Thank this.

About taping ...... regular everyday tape is going to leave a gummy residue on the stack to deal with.

That professional cover posted earlier, well hell, ya buy it once and you'll always be the pro!

    Bean Jr. Thanks this.
