    Pretty sure that's old footage.
Nothing to do with current events.

    But,,,

Just thought of something more delicious: instead of trying to drive through the lines, why not back up to them and unleash the hounds!

Everyone loves animals, until 4000#'s of angry beef is bearing down on overfed Karens.

Don't have to prove it to me. I have seen them also. In cab control for axle slide too. Wouldn't want the driver to get in & out of the truck to many times and get exercise.

You can bath those lines with wd or mechanics grease too. Most likely they'll need to engage the vehicle while your still in motion. If your at a dead stop makes me ya wonder why they dont have a fifth wheel unlocker in all makes and models these days. Leave the load come back for it when you can. If you can take off fast enough the trailer won't catch your back tires when you drop it.

Actually, this I could get behind.
Maybe a 6v low power high speed electric motor working off the lighting circuit? The switch & device would be located on the trailer. Push button, pull pin, pull air, then when it hits the ground you pull the electric.

UPS has them now, but I've never looked at the system.

Well New Penn and Holland has them on their day cabs , I know well lol
Thing is they disable on drive on automatic or any forward gear I believe. Of course if you can mod the already installed feature this would come in handy for future operations. They aren't enabled I'd imagine for the new drivers and it would be high risk and liability to have them function at any speed -understood, yet in a new age with 'protesta boasta' need these new old tricks, some new ones too.
