Depends on length and weight. I'm not a pro in that department, but 10 4" straps should handle most of it, length of strap determined by how high the load is. 5/16 chains if it's not big heavy stuff
Lindsey Leveston Thanks this. -
i can think of one load, that's about 35 feet long. and requires 18 straps.
but that gooseneck trailer probably won't be hauling that much weight. i try to pack no less then 15 straps. a gooseneck probably won't use that many, but spares are always good to have should one start tearing on a load.
2 inch straps with ratchets are good to have also, for spares, or if you have areas on the trailer where no winches for 4 inch straps are available. like is a common problem on stepdeck trailersLindsey Leveston Thanks this. -

I set of lumber tarps will cover anything.
10 chains 20' long
10 binders
25 straps
200 bungee cords
10 4x4x8's
50 edge protectors
If your a hot shot you probably don't need 1/2 that stuff due to your weight restriction. The above list would be for someone capable of carrying 48,000 pounds.Mattflat362 and 77fib77 Thank this.
