Tax Dollars to Fix MEXICAN Trucks

It gets better - the obamma regime has agreed to use USA TAXPAYER DOLLARS to equip mexican trucks with EOBRs.

I wish the mexican government and as a country, would concentrate its efforts into becoming a free capitolistic society that empowers their people and rid itself of 3rd world status where everone wants to leave.

The United States giving mexican trucks one dime for anything is as absurd as mexico giving me money to update my truck/trailer so I can run in mexico.

Im not sure which country has the most corupt "leaders". UFB..........

 

Don't a lot of American trucking companies have operations in Mexico? So it's another subsidy that US taxpayers give to corporate America. We the people my ash,the good old USA is run by and for the benefit of Corporations.The rich get richer for a reason,they have the best lobbyists money can buy to pass laws favorable to their CEO's and stock holders.Where's your golden parachute?

 

Simple fact. The Mexican Peso is maybe half the value of the US Dollar. The Mexican trucking companies are either going to charge the going rate in the US and pay their drivers accordingly, pocket the excess profit or charge half the rate to haul freight that the American trucking companies charge, causing a ripple effect in lower rates, lower driver pay, etc.
It's pure economics and the bottom line is profits. If I can have my freight hauled for half the rate that Uncle Sam will haul it for, who in the hell do you think I'm going to use?
Once Mexican trucking companies are able to roam free across the border, it's going to be bad news for the American Trucker.
