Anybody know of any good companies that can help with doing taxes for O/O or 1099 drivers?

personally i have always used H&R block, all IRS tax forms are in the system.and the piece of mind if somthing goes wrong and you audited you have a good company standing behind you.it can get a little pricy, but to me worth it I have never been audited.all the deductions being an O/O can raise flags.

I posted this link before under a different post, but for the life of me cannot remember which one... anyway, here's a link to a CPA that specializes in O/O truck taxes:

any of those large box companies like hr block hire a large spectrum of experience. some have years of experience, some have none, merely a few week class. if you go to one, make sure to call ahead, and make an appointment with one of the most experienced preparers there, and onje who has experience with business/self employed taxes. do NOT walk in and sit down with the next available person...most likely you will end up with the "no experience" person. they outnumber the experienced ones in most locations.

what part of the US are you in? If we know what state you are in we might be able to give you specifics. Many O/O have accountants that only deal with truck taxes.
