    Work location would be the hole dam country. If your ever asked you say the “lower 48”. Pay taxes in the state your license is from.

    As a truck driver, not located in the same state as your company, you would have income taxes due to the state you actually live in. Most companies are set up to deduct income taxes from your pay for the state of residence. If they do not do this, then when you file your tax returns, it will transfer your income deduction to your home state. Most states have a reciprocal tax transfer policy for this. It gets a bit confusing at first, but once you file your return, it will start to make sense.
