What one would be better for living in Clarksville, TN. I have never done FB before, I used to do reefer, but that was back in 2003 and I have been off the road since that time. I dont think reefer has changed that much.
Any help would be great. I am looking around October 2013 when I ETS from the military
TCD or Flatbed ?

Take a look at Bulkmatic in Hopkinsville, KY
Bulkmatic.com
This would pay better than flatbed.
Bulkmatic has a thread on here; type Bulkmatic in the search at top of this page. -
i'd imagine your in a good spot for either. I do know flat's buzz through there constantly, and load/unload alot in that area. I guess it all boils down to how hard you want to work.

For a more enjoyable and satisfying job Id go flats. Flats will also get you home most weekends also once you have your own truck(not sure if you would have to go with a trainer)

FLATBED...

I've been swinging doors on vans for the last 6 months, and I can confirm for fact, it sucks. So in my honest unbiased opinion, flat is where it's at.
i'm starting a new job pulling flat's on the 15thjxu417 Thanks this. -
If you have to ask I would stick to pulling a reefer.
-
if you don't mind. Who are you going to go work for now. -
