    Hi,

    I'm starting on 9/19/11 at this school. I did get one positive response on it. But that trucker went here in 1996. Is there any recent graduates out there? This is the TDI school in Sanford, Fl.

    Have you tried roadmaster or Mid Florida Tech?? I know a couple of people who went to TDI in Sanford and went to Werner.

    To Kinghunter,

    My son has Asperger's Syndrome. He turned 18 this year and in his last year of High School. I would love for him to be a trucker. Was it difficult for you?

    Sorry for my ignorance Shimmymama but what technically is Asperger's Syndrome? It sounds familiar but I can't quite remember what its all about. You will most likely have to check with your doctor about driving commercially. Right now the only stipulation holding your son back would be his age. You have to be 21 to drive over the road. He could get his Class B license though and drive instate like in a dump truck or something. That would definitely prepare him for over the road. Personally I would recommend him going to college though.

    Thank you for your response. AS is the highest form of autism. Means he is very smart but don't want to talk to any people LOL, in a nutshell.
