If those mid roof tiny cascadia’s are what you’re looking to put teams in, good luck!

Unionization seems to be getting more popular again so might have a problem with butt sects.

When I ran teams we did a 12 hour shift, 6 to 6. When you were on duty, you basically pretend you’re in a day cab and the sleeper was off limits. This is the only way to do it in my opinion. It keeps drivers on the same schedule on the same sleep patterns and doesn’t wake up the driver sleeping.

My husband and I run teams and we have double bunks. The thing with double bunks and team driving is it is always nice if the truck stops for 3-6 hrs a night then drivers get better sleep and better sleep means better drivers. I myself would not be interested in teaming in a truck that did not have double bunks. Because although I can sleep when the truck is moving I don’t sleep near as good as when the truck is stopped. When I’m driving husband is usually in the back on my bed sleeping ( bottom bunk) and when he is driving I’m sleeping but when he stops the truck for the 3-6 hrs then he is in top bunk and I’m in bottom bunk. Just works out better in team situation but as the one guy stated no one should be in top bunk when the truck is moving.

I've done a little bit of team driving in a single bunk, and when you're arriving at a pickup in the morning an hour or two before your appointment after driving all night, you want to be able to lay down and take a nap and let your co-driver make the pickup when he starts his shift. Hanging out in a truck stop or convenience store waiting for an hour or two to pass before you can lay down when you're dead tired is not a morale builder.

Team in a daycab. Take the right seat out and they can sleep on the floor wrapped around the shifter.

I personally would not do it. But I guess it is up to the individuals teaming. My sleep is important to me so if I’m not driving I’m in the bed resting. Even teaming with my husband we both like to stretch out and the 2 of us with a beagle in the bed is way too cramped so we would not consider not having bunks.
