that was a baby, not a child. Not like it had much time on this rock to spend much of it in a vehicle.
Shows that even spending just a few hours in a vehicle can be enough to get you killed. Vs. the trucker who spends hundreds of thousands and get's to live to 80 years...
It can happen to anyone at any time. Yes the risk is theoretically greater if you spend more hours in a vehicle but end result is either your alive or your dead and no amount of math can predict the future (contrary to what the insurance companies will tell you lol)
Anywho, that was directed at chompi due to his "don't bring a kid in a truck because it's too dangerous" comment. Bringing my daughter along for a drive in the water truck puts her in no more danger than going for a drive in my pickup. That's what I was getting at here.
edit: I'll specify before anyone twists what I said around. "DRIVE" is the key word here, as in one run and then both back home to go to bed. Not OTR without a home, friends, school, good nutrition.
Team driving with a child on the truck?

JUST A HORRIBLE IDEA all the way around...
give the child a real life..
a truck is NO place to grow up...
even asking such a question signafiys a need for MATURITY on your part.
UNREAL.. -
This is one sick idea and lady you are on a social network what did you have in mind when posting this??????
chompi Thanks this. -
Mind you not all locations have internet and the ability to get online and just because you are in a truck does not relieve you of your duties of providing your child of an education it is the law. I don't think you realize the amount of work that goes into completing online school. Look at K-12 its online public school.

Gotta agree with Condocruiser on this one. But really I think your thought process is somewhat challenged. You stated " The problem is I have a 7 year old daughter"..
Do you really think thats the issue; calling your daughter "the" problem? No place for that lil baby!
Just some small advice.FozzyNOK and TRKRSHONEY Thank this. -
I will close with the moral argument but lets start with the legal one. We have child labor laws in this country to keep our children safe around machinery. I would bet you will have trouble convincing anyone that riding in a truck is where a child should be.
You say that you want to put this child in a truck so you can be team with your boyfriend. Not your husband. You save the child doesn't know her real father. Now she is going to sleep in a truck that is always moving. Hot in the summer, cold in the winter. People peeing in the truck. Smoking? Bad diets. No school or friends to play with.
Team driving is like being in prison. I think it is a fine place to raise your kid. She probably is headed that way away. And YES, I am judging you. I am also finding you guilty of being a selfish woman. If you do not know that your only purpose as a mammal is to raise your young then let someone else do it. Drop the child off at the first truck stop you come to. I am sure some one else can give her a better life.
Harsh.....you should hear what I really think. -
With three people one person would have to be strapped into the bunk at all times. Not a good plan.
FozzyNOK Thanks this. -
Oh, I am sorry, one thing I forgot to ask. Are you driving as part of a carnival? You seem to think like some of those freak show folks.
You must remember, Truckers love their families. We have to spend time away for them to make their lives better. You are wanting to bring you daughter into an environment that is neither same physically or stable mentally. If you were married to the man it would show some thought for the future but you having even done that.
Don't asks us for our blessings. If I see you on the road, I call children's serivices.FozzyNOK and TRKRSHONEY Thank this.
