    Hello

I have been contacted by CRST and are seriously thinking about going to work there but i have a few question that i hope some of you guys and gals can answer for me as i am sure that i will get a better answer here than from the recuiter.

1 : does CRST have solo drivers? have heard something that they might be a team only company but not sure.

2 : What type of truck´s do they have?

3 : What is the avg. miles for a solo if they have solo drivers?

That should be all for now

Crst is a training company, but as long as you run on time and don't refuse your loads your going to do good. Just don't take any advance out.

They have plenty of FL Columbias, these range from 2009-2011 for company drivers. DD15/10spd EF

Cascadias, these are 2010 and newer, same layout as the Columbias, however they have a small built in fridge and power inverter. DD15/10spd EF

2010 and newer Volvo VNL780's. Nicer seats, suspension, bunks and cabinetry. They also have built in 2500w inverters, a usable size fridge and 9 speaker stereo with subwoofer. D13/9spd EF

They have a handful of Petes and Internationals running around, however I havn't seen much of them.

As for owner ops on their lease purchase program, they either get a 2009 and older columbia, or centry s/t that they bought from crete/shaffer.

Company trucks are limited to 65mph, and o/o are limited to 68, the small dedicated fleet they run is limited to 68 as well.

So what i understand is that i have a good chance NOT to get a solo truck as they promised me on the phone and that pretty much sucks.

I like what i read about the trucks.

    Thank You all

There is no chance to get on solo on the company van side. Some dedicated are solo. And if you lease you can run solo

    It was 2008

  10. Crst is pretty fair with their advances I have to say. They don't charge you interest and in the case of taking them for hotels during breakdown they'll reimburse you if you save your recepits. I spent a combined total of 29 days in breakdown at about 55 dollars a night in the hotels. I took advances every other day at and aveage of 75 to 100. When all was said and done I owed two hundred dollars, four days worth of training.

Why on earth were you broken down for 29 days, and why were they having you pay for the hotels with personal advances? They have a hotel voucher system for just that purpose. Anywhere you go, you can find a hotel thats in their system. And all 29 of these days occurred during training? Sheesh.
