Congrats guys. Enjoy your accomplishment, you deserve it. It is not everyone that can accomplish what you two have. When you get into that truck that is being assigned to you, take a deep breath, look around, and enjoy. then the heart will skip a little beat when you leave the yard on your first trip together, without an instructor sitting there to rely on.
    Go get em!!

OK, I am sitting here in the yard in my brand new 2012 Freightliner Cascadia with 358 miles on the odometer. A pretty sweet ride. It is going into the shop in 20 minutes (if I can get my wife out of bed) so they can install the inverter and then we will be heading out today. Picture of this red beauty below. Oh, it is a 10 Speed too.

I caught Anne's post on the new truck, so you must've gotten her out of bed. Very nice! Joe has the same truck (which will be mine in just five weeks!), but ooooollder. Heh. Yours is all shiny and new... I'm jealous. :biggrin_255:

Good luck to both of you... so excited!

Got a short 300 mile run to the Walmart DC in Douglas GA. No issues at all so that is out of the way. We are now rolling trough Southern Georgia on our way to Elk Grove Illinois with Jimmy Buffett along for the ride. It is a great day. Small problem with the truck so we are going to stop back in Tunnel Hill to get it fixed. The interior lights will not go off for 10 minutes after opening the drivers door and will not come on opening the passenger door. The lights are a real issue at night, specially when backing. Should be an easy fix though. (he says with a smile)

    Wedge Thanks this.
