Awesome meeting you tonight Flood. Good Lord the Fedex facility in Chicago Heights is a crazy place. Makes Rock Island look like a ghost town.

You are very welcome. Feel free to ask any questions you may have. I am really geared toward team driving but I have lots of solo driving friends

First, it is a whole lot easier typing when I am not moving at 65 miles an hour.

And Second: WE MADE IT ALL THE WAY ACROSS NEBRASKA WITH A FEDEX LOAD!!!

We made our drop at the Fedex Henderson Colorado facility at 23:00 last night. We already had the preplan for our next load and we need to run empty 580 miles to Eastern Kansas and pick up another Fedex load going to Boise. Pickup is not until 09:00 Thursday so we ran to Loveland to sleep in a big kids bed for the evening. Had breakfast with my awesome daughter this morning and Anne is out doing some shopping and we will head out about noon. Between our home time and multiple breakdowns, this Friday will be our first full weeks paychecks. Going to be nice to have money. We bought a refrigerator for the truck in Michigan and it is so nice to have milk for my Lucky Charms :biggrin_25525:. That should be the last big thing we need to buy for the truck for a while.

I am totally loving my job and this lifestyle.

Well bummer, I guess it was not ok to have our blog address in my signature. I understand why website promotion could be a problem but it was just our blog, not trying to sell anything. I love the admins on this site however. I at least got a message as to why they removed the info.

Thank you TTR for running a great site.

How do you split your drive time? Do the trucks come with an inverter, if not how many watts can you have? What kid of refrigerator did you get? I have read a lot of your posts and your blog. You are one of the reasons why I chose USX.

    Thanks.

The last time I drove team was in training 18 years ago with Swift. Saw Atlanta and California at midnight every other night or so it seemed. I need to get out of the truck and get exercise daily or my body and mind goes to hell so solo is for me.
