Just bought the Rand McNally 7 inch Truck GPS on ebay. Slightly used for a total of $345 including shipping. I am a happy guy.

Let me know how you like it. One of the guys in orientation has the 510 and he really likes it. I believe the only difference is screen size.

OK, I am a sick man. After four days off I cannot wait to get back on the road. I think Anne is itching to get rolling also.

We are going to clean and reorganize the truck (for the nth time) :biggrin_2556: and then get out of here this afternoon I hope. I have been asked by a number of people so once we get it cleaned up, I will take pictures of how we have it set up inside and post.

    engine312 Thanks this.

Yeah this blog is a little sensitive. My first account I put a link to my website and got banned forever. No problem (heh) delete cookie on hard drive and create new account. Then I got identified as a spammer (either machine or human complaint?)
and so my comments were "machine" moderated. Then I noticed the blog machinery got upset because I mentioned that I study kung foo (but spelled it correctly) and so the machine x'ed out the efff ueeh like I was proceeding to spell something else.

The only thing that is not locked down (thankfully) is our opinions which is necessary if we are to discuss trucking honestly. I already accidentally quieted
the apologists for Schneider who seemed adamant to put their good faith spin
on all discussion. They were actually doing a good service but when I mentioned the TRUTH of what happened to me in Fontana this week, I had to write their script for them (pathetic).

I was surprised (because I did not even try) that a link made it by the censors.

I guess you did not get banned like me for putting your blog link in your signature
because you have a history of participation. I did it off the "get go" and got "banned for life".

I want to see pictures!!!!!! I'm always looking for ways to get more organized and be able to have a little more stuff....LOL

BTW, you and Anne are not sick......I can barely stand to be home for 3 days and then I'm ready to hit the road again. I did 4 weeks/4 days a couple of times and that was just too much on both ends.
