As well as finding people that have been there for more then a few weeks or months too.
halfburn Thanks this. -
yeah it was cool... im just so sick of being at my job now... its cool that my wife and i work with each other and home with each other so being in a truck wont be to bad... just worried about all the sad stories about being sent home for dumb stuff.. my wife has me eating **rabbit food** to get my BP down... it was 148/90 now with taking cayenne pills its takin it down to 132/73 in just two weeks
-
Tips to help you with BP so you can pass the physical
take 1 aspirin the night before
take 1 aspirin the morning of too
Day before and day of, no soda, no coffee, no salt (sodium)
In other words stay away from everything that could raise your BP -
what does the asprin do??? the other thing that has me kinda freaked is the BMI and neck thing... i mean im only 32 6'1" 280lbs but dont look like a porker more like a happy fat kid that loves good food
-
It will thin your blood out and reduce your BP to allow your blood to flow more. Last I knew, USX does not check your BMI, or neck size.
-
i guess the bestest thing is leaving a job i have now and taking the risk of loosing everthing that has taken so long to build to go to oreintation just to be sent home for something...
-
it's a side effect of asprin that your looking for. it thins the blood a little, thats one of the reason dr's put people on LOW DOSE asprin 83mg..
-
That is all part of what USX does. They make sure you have quit your current job before they will even do the back ground check on you. Then you must pass the physical too. They like to think that they are in complete control over you, and they hope that you dont have any money at all. They love to use gray hound to transport people the further away you live the better it is for them.
Read everything you can before you quit your job and go there, and make sure you have all your ducks in a row too. If you have any, and I mean any medical issues, make sure you have a release from your doctor before you go to orientation too. -
i havent been to the Dr in alsmot 5 years.. and the only condition i used to have was Asthma and that hasnt bugged me in almost 7 years... so i dont have any Dr stuff to bring with me... wife and i already have funds saved to cover us for a month with no job while at oreintation and 3 weeks of training...
