Nope. I'm not eating ANY words. Penn State is still a great institution. The Football Team is still a great football team. I had a great time when I attended and I think they are still pretty high in academic standards. There was one moron who thought he could get away with that sick stuff and hopefully will rot painfully away in prison for the rest of his life. My son is still going to Penn State.

 

I think the school will be alright, but I think it is way deeper and more people are involved, than has been revealed yet.

That assistant coach that saw it happen should be beat though...

 

Nah, the only one who should be beaten (or set on fire, or tied to a pole on College Avenue and peeled, or have a screw driver driving into each eye, or have his fingers cut off one every day with a paper cutter...) is running around town and shopping at Dicks Sporting Goods this week.



I know McQ, I'd say he should have acted further, just like everyone else. This is a guy who stopped two students from knifing each other in a dining hall. He's a good guy, just made a grave mistake.

By an awesome coincidence, we have had the great pleasure of getting to run with Sandi and Jim (bandit67) for the last 50 hours.same routes, same fuel stops and same closed freeways. Totally cracked up that sitting on the 80 I am sitting in someone else's truck LOL. Feels kinda lonely out here without them now. Only time I have talked on the CB. Thanks Jim for keeping me company.

We are heading to Whittier CA to pick up a FedEx load heading to Fife WA. Believe it or not, we are going to end up with 8000 miles on this paycheck. Wow. Then we get to head home for the weekend. We haven't been "home" for 3 months. I need a daughter fix for sure and clean this truck out. We are going to need a new windshield too. Huge rock hit us under the passenger windshield wiper. In the cold it is slowly spreading up. Hoping we can make it till home time so we can get it fixed while sitting inside. I heard it takes awhile to set and if you leave too early it can leak. Anyway I hope everyone is having an awesome week and upcoming holiday. We will be on the road for Thanksgiving.
