Heading to Montreal. One of the very few large cities in North America that I have not been to. Well, I have been to the airport and even spent a night in a hotel by the airport but that does not count

Btw, we had a delay getting our apps in to USX, a much needed vacation to New Orleans took over for a while. Faxed them in on Friday and got the pre-hires first thing this morning (not that it means too much at this point). Now to get the girl in school, looking for one a little closer to home that will take the Pell Grant. -

Pretty painless. We crossed at Detroit and ran up 401 to Montreal, got a load out of New Hampshire and ran down I-89. Sitting in a little truck stop in Montpelier Vermont and just had dinner at Applebees. 76 degrees here and a wonderful day.
It's a great day to be Craig -
Are you still in the reefer division? If so, what are the advantages/disadvantages? It would seem like the live loading/unloading would cut into your miles a little.
I pull as much reefer freight as I can with my current company because they pay me an extra 10 cents per mile, so the waiting around doesn't bother me so much. -
We are still with the reefer division and I wish we got paid more but we don't. We do get great miles and we stay running. We have only had one bad load so far per the loading. We get treated well and don't seem to have too many problems. I think if you sit over a certain time they do pay you detention pay. We will find out next paycheck.

USX seems like a very forgiving company to me, considering the living hell other drivers have gone thru after small fender benders with other companies. -
