    they can be very good about it.... i had a good laugh with safety when i was telling them about how i hit a car (broke his head light)... the funny part was the driver i hit went to jail....??

    Hello everyone, been too long and I just wanted to say the wife and I are still doing fine. Sitting in Cali at the Colton yard for a few hours than make our delivery. Than, off to new pickup and towards TN.

    Wow where does the time go? It is almost May. Can't say we have been super busy. Between breakdown and time home the past couple months have been a little slow for us financially but then again it has been awesome spending time with friends and family. Hopefully from now on we will be back running hard. Hope everyone is doing great!!!

    I hear you there T-Bear..LOL Last couple weeks we have lower paychecks as well but, thats due to TAH and now truck is in shop for PM, Axle Allignment and Tire change... The good thing is, we are at Springfield and Son & Daughter live in Columbus so, we going to have lunch today and meet future Son In-Laws parents...

    Pray all are doing well and enjoying the good weather....

    For us, the ability to see family all over the country is one of the best perks of the job. Great to hear it is going well. We were on track for a 7300 mile week and then the dang wind in Wyoming struck. 3375 pounds in the box so we got shut down for about 14 hours so lost our preplan out of Memphis. Probably means we cannot drop this load at Olive Branch as planned and will have to babysit until Monday for a live unload. I think we will survive. :biggrin_255:

    Sorry to hear that Craig,,about the load you will have to babysit.. I like your attitude and that is what it takes to say healthy...LOL We have kids in OH and TN and family in MI but, never get a load to MI,,,going to try. Glad you like that about the job, seeing family and getting paid for it..LOL Good thing I called the Springfield shop for status of truck, they stated they don't do the alignment there, would be sent to freightliner on monday. I said to cancel that, will get it done next time we are home. Didn't think they would allow that but he said ok. Funny though, that was 4 hrs ago and still haven't got a call and they are only suppose to be doing PMa.. oh well, enjoying a movie. You all have a great night...

    We did end up dropping at Olive Branch and repowered a load to Denton TX. we are halfway there and then heading on to El Paso. Just want to keep rolling through the weekend.
    Request time off in Michigan, that is what we do. You can two do two or three days there and then a couple of days at home too.

    No, I did not mean MI, we take home time all over the country. Have family in Seattle, LA, Fort Collins CO, Chattanooga and Oshkosh WI. We take home time in all of those places and more
