Never heard about that? Thought Craig and Anne joined that fleet?

We joined briefly but never went to Canada. Long story but it just wasn't a good fit for us. We did end up doing a repower and I'm glad we can say we drove to Canada but don't plan on doing it often.

    ATL-1 Thanks this.

What a few days we have had. We ran a load to Texas from LA and in El Paso our air conditioning quit. Made it to Irving and checked into the hotel. I was beyond crabby and hot. Just wanted to take a shower and get cool. The wait to just get the truck in the shop was 3 days and we had hometime planned for Seattle for the weekend so that wasn't going to work. 3 days to just get it in WOW! We repowered a load heading to Fontana CA and thought how bad could it be to run across Texas. Well I can tell you It WAS BAD!!!! I will never ever try that again. It ended up being 104 in the truck. I don't know how people do it but this girl is meant to have AC. We are now a few hours from hometime and can't wait to see family and friends. Hoping to get the AC fixed in the next few days. Hope everyone else is having a great week.

Pray you two have a great home time and T-Bear, its called acclimation, that's how some can stand hotness...lol. Our AC is acting up now but we are waiting for 3 weeks for home time, than we will turn this puppy in for multiple problems..

We are sitting just south of Balt, MD at Taylor Farms, waiting to be unloaded..another "hurry up and wait" load. Pray we don't get stuck here for the weekend.

Anne, I hope your AC gets fixed and stays fixed!!!!

Sheepdog, acclimation is not always possible. If I were to lose my AC I would end up in the hospital because it is impossible to acclimate when you don't sweat. All I do is heat up and pass out......actually browned out on my motorcycle in Las Vegas once....fortunately a friend lived real close and we went there and I jumped in the shower to get my body temp down.

Imagine the old truckers before AC had to deal with it.
Had to be tough back then. I like my AC thank you!
