    most dot/leo are cool about it as long as the lights are the right color...... remember only yellow and white facing the front, other colors are ok when parked off the road

    I was thinking about inside the truck on the ceiling. White lights for ambiance :)

    the law is that any light seen from the front MUST be white or yellow and any light seen from the back MUST be yellow for turn or red for turn-stop-running.
    white on the back is for back up only so yes you can get a ticket if your back up lights are on when going down the road..

    cars/ trucks/ cmv/ bus/ rv... it's all the same law and has nothing to do with fmcsa
    do all leo/dot enforce it NO but all the cars/ trucks on the road that have the blue or green lights that you can see are a upset cop away from having a bad day, and that goes for the lighted license plate holders as well

    OK, that was funny. The poor guard at the Kansas City Ford Plant never knew what hit him. We were scheduled for a Noon live unload on our last load of the year. Once this one was done we were on our way home. We pulled up to the plant at 08:30 AM........I sent out my secret weapon.

    Good Lord did Anne work that guy. LOL

    Long story short, we dropped the load and bobtailed out 10 minutes later. She still swears no cleavage was involved.

    Off to watch the Redskins game and then the Seahawks game then start heading home.

    Well, New Year is upon us and we are back to work. Did not get everything we wanted to get done on the truck finished but what did get done is pretty awesome. Upper bunk removed and custom shelves built, out with the old seats and the new HEATED leather seats are in. Also, the passenger seat swivels around so you can watch the new 32" flatscreen in style. Also got some mechanical stuff done like a new thermostat so we have heat while driving again and the turbo was loose. We also have 7 batteries now and a dedicated starter module. Pretty sweet. Heading up to Michigan and feels great to be rolling. Christmas was way too expensive this year.
