What they could not know then, in those very early years was I was simply deaf. But that was not discovered or confirmed to be a true issue until about age 6 when I was evaluated for possible committing to the State institution.

I cannot imagine what drugs or other things that might be used today combined with a education system determined to remove gender, behaviors and other natural things that is part of all life among children.

Ive got 2 nephews and a son on various places of the spectrum. All of em as different as can be...

That said....fixating, bad interpersonal skills, lack of empathy and emotional outbursts are common, in varying degrees, in all 3 of em.
