Would like to hear from team drivers on what type of trailer they have the best loads with? Van, Reefer, DD, SD, or Flat?

LOL... The one we are hooked to :)

Seriously though, we leased through a company, and recently got our own authority... So only have experience with a refer... So far, we like it.

I don't have my own authority so my opinion may not carry a whole lot of weight, but I prefer reefer and lease with swift on a dedicated account pulling reefers. In theory reefer freight doesn't slow down that much, and from what I've seen it doesn't.

Reefer freight is pretty consistent, but I never have to do washouts I just pick up a loaded trailer and go to my stops, then return to the DC and swap out my mt for a loaded. So I don't know how much of pain washouts would be.

Flatbed hauling oversized loads are pretty profitable from what I've heard, it just seems like a lot of headache for me, but you get paid for the work you put into it.

Dry van ; we did reefer but too much noise from cooling unit, can't sleep; and for few extra cents doesn't worth to watch temperature, fill up reefer fuel, time sensitive loads, picky clints;and most of reefer loads are out of CA,: i'm done with Ca,#####y regulation , heavy pulling mountains( blew 2 motors in Utah on I-15 and I+80) and expensive fuel.
