Bit of a clencher this if you are the stranded driver concerned, but do you have friends like this?
Teamwork if you are miles from help

Our company won't let us pull a truck 6 inches forward anymore. Too dangerous they say?

How did that not flop over ?

The right hand container truck had a strong line from its chassis over the top of the stricken container and attached to a twist lock. I reckon that one must have been fully loaded to cope with the pull of the tilted one. Unless you mean when he went off the road, in which case I don't know, perhaps he had a God to pray to.
Took some guts from all concerned though. I don't know where in the world it was because I couldn't ID the language spoken, but it must have been in a country where conventional recovery equipment and operators are not readily available. Good to have good friends to rely on then.Last edited: Feb 24, 2024
