Technology, KLLM drivers: high-tech camera mirrors

Are they trying to replace mirrors on the door entirely? so in the future they’ll be like no door mirrors and only tech screens in the cab with the cameras on top of the doors?

 

I actually think it’s cool, it just looks funky with the double mirrors at the moment

you know what would be awesome for the erratic four wheelers that sit on our trailer, an automatic LED light sign… “Please drive past truck”

Especially for those times you’re on the two Lane highway for like the next 150 miles and that one car is just sitting there for like 5 miles on the side even though you have your blinker on they’re just still sitting there… and if they’re not on the side of the truck, they’re like at the tail end of the trailer just sitting there for miles being annoying.
