What's next? Angel Gabriel is too sick with the Covid19? //sarcasm.

A male cat has like 2 acres of territory give or take. But toss in a female cat in heat, that male cat will roam ten acres to get to her.

    Couple of things..
Not picking on you @D.Tibbitt ...yours was just the best to quote. ;)

I've seen mention of the bats elsewhere..this naturally got me curious.

So it seems the Chinese are not the only ones to eat bats, or other things North Americans wouldn't. I'm including Canada, as their part of NA, an I like Canadians, sue me. In Africa they hunt 68 different types of bats for food. If one includes all of Asia an not just China, they hunt/eat roughly 64 different type of bats.

Here's a link to a wiki page on an I'm not making this up "Bat as food".
    Bat as food - Wikipedia

Supposedly there is a restaurant in Florida that has a bat dish. I feel like I just described a batman dinner...anyhow.

My point was just curiosity. Asians an Chinese in particular love the weird foods. I agree it's weird but eh...different strokes for different folks. Sounds like it's something they need to regulate over there, but they won't.

    On the Amazon tribe things..
Maybe he was near loggers. Article mentioned his tribe/group was on the border of Brazil and Venezuela. Both nations I think log the Amazon area.

Maybe our resident expert on Brazil knows more..paging @Rocks paging Professor @Rocks you are needed at the info desk. ;)

Far as plots...West coast corona came from China as they say, saw an article claiming NY's and other places near there came from Europe.

The tribe is semi-isolated, but has contact with the outside world. This is also not the first disease we have given them. Lol

You don't have yo eat bats to get sick, all you have to do is disturb some dried up bat doo doo and inhale the dust.

we rate Fox News strongly Right-Biased due to editorial positions and story selection that favors the right. We also rate them Mixed factually and borderline Questionable based on poor sourcing and the spreading of conspiracy theories that later must be retracted after being widely shared. Further, Fox News would be rated a Questionable source based on numerous failed fact checks by hosts and pundits, however straight news reporting is generally reliable, therefore we rate them Mixed for factual reporting.

Fox News - Media Bias/Fact Check

CNN gets the same score for factual reporting, just so you know.

I checked Brazilian websites and talked to a couple of friends in Brasil...
These news are deceiving and incorrect.
First of all the kid wasn't living inside his tribe in the middle of the jungle which is border with Venezuela...
He was living in the city of Alto Alegre which is close to a highway and mining extraction region... only 90 km from the capital Boa Vista.

    Alto Alegre.jpg

He was tested twice in a hospital according to the news... the first time they said no corona virus was detected... but a second test was done and it showed it was corona virus... :angry3:
I am extremely suspicious of those tests... or even if they were really done.... because there has been many cases of people who have died of causes other than this virus in Brasil but the hospitals put corona virus on their records...
I have watched videos in Brazilian social media of people who were in the hospital right after the death of their relatives, saying their relatives died of heart attach and other causes and had absolutely no breathing problem but the hospital insisted to write on their obituaries the cause of death was corona and forbade them to even bury their relatives... and many in Brasil are saying this is a conspiracy to destabilize the president's government ... there has been a huge opposition to him and his government not only by socialist parties but also by the media... Sounds familiar...?? :biggrin_1square1:
Governors and mayors in Brasil doing everything they can to make it more difficult for the people, prohibiting people to go out, arresting people, forbidding business to open, people to work, falsifying death certificates, trying to destroy the country to destroy the president... F the people... all they care is to destroy the president.... by destroying the country.... :angry1:

See answer on page 1 of this thread, 2 to 3 million, to date, total, is a joke. It's not even close to being enough, 100,000 plus per day. We need at least 3 to 5 million per day for a country of 330 million. And an antibody test.

Otherwise we can't get the economy started up again. More delays. If we do try, before adequate testing, and the local governments/people actually respond. Look out wave 2.

Seeing how this test didn’t exist 7 weeks ago, a test that normally takes 10-12 to come up with only 3-4 weeks to come up with. By law for the first 3 weeks of testing only the CDC was allowed to do the tests till a waiver was granted to allow private labs to conduct the tests, I’d say what they did is pretty miraculous has how they have ramped the testing up.
