    It may be worth a look, but there are two things in your way. First, you need a work permit. Second, you are still under the jurisdiction of child labor laws. It may just not be cost effective for a trucking company to put you to work, but I can't say for certain. Look into it.

    With a lot of these company's its going to be a safety issue. There are a ton of ways you can get hurt working around trucks from getting something in your eye to falling off a truck washing the windows. Loading is even worse if you blow your back out or get caught using the forklift when you shouldn't be. They probably won't want to take the risk as you aren't an adult and they have to answer to your parents (and your parents lawyers!). I got into trucking at 18 as a driver and it was hard for me to convince a company to let me anywhere near their truck and that was with a CDL.

    Thanks. Many people have brought these issue's to my attention, I just thought I'd ask you guys so I'd have the info from people that are actually in the industry.
