    No, it's for trucks only. If the trucks late it's always traffic, weather, breakdown.

    didn't have any issues. The DC i went to is notorious for long wait times. Broker said 99% of the time detention is involved. Only broker I've had issues with is Nolan and we really don't like using them

    that’s what you get for working with ####ty brokers, plenty of independents would have had no problem actually getting you that load for when you needed it as long as we have a little heads up, but no one wants to actually go through any actual planning, they just want to make one phone call and have it magically show up. I’m sure you also save $5-10 using some broker instead of an actual company Too.

    It’s possible the shipper paid for the truck? I’d be surprised if someone who owns trucks and owns a non trucking business would hire a broker.

    you got it.

    Have been on the phone with some local outfits today. We’ll see if any of them will bite. So far, very little interest. Even with 10 day ahead scheduling, 14 loads a year is “too small potatoes” for most of them.
