I have 3 solid years of driving and am looking to leave Prime to get closer to home and for more hometime. How is Crete? Do they do orientation in Ga at the Marietta terminal? Are miles pretty consistent? Decent equipment? I've heard way more good than bad. Would love to hear from current drivers from Crete. Tell me the good AND the bad. I know no trucking company is perfect, but I need consistent miles and hometime.
Any help?

I've been with Crete for 4 years or so and found a home here. I can honestly say that I won't be going anywhere else and plan on retireing here. With that being said I have a niche here, I'm home every night have weekends off and shuttle between 2 wharehouses and still turn 568 miles a day. Drop-n-hook at one end I drag the stuff off at the other(power pallet jack)Crete is doing more and more local/reg type runs so home time is getting better all the time. Pay is good, benifits are pretty good, I don't deal with dispatch so can't say much about them
